Yasumi Sushi & Grill in Groningen

TLDR: guy with the tie (manager) is a dick and don’t take customers happiness in consideration. Go to Fujiyama in Groningen instead. More local and prettier place.
We’ve been to Yasumi many time before but this time will be our last time. Normally we wouldn’t have high expectations of the taste and quality of the food because that’s what you pay for. And normally the service is ok, nothing to write about. But this time they went too far with the bad service. Watch out for the GUY WITH THE TIE. i guess he’s the manager? Don’t act like one… What happened is when we arrived, to have to wait for at least 10 min before they gave us a tablet to order any drinks or food. So basically we started late. While eating the plates keeps pilling up and no one bothered to clean up the table. Making less space to place new dishes. Some dishes like squid pieces got served in a very small proportion.
Now the worse part: 20 min before our 2 hours of ordering food was over the guy with the tie told us our time is almost over and we have to hurry up. And be quick if we want to order one more round. So we did that and still have actually time left to order another round within our rights of the remaining time but the tablet disabled all food ordering options…fine, when our last round came and we were done eating i asked a waiter whether i could order dessert after our time was over. Yes was the answer so i press the dessert ordering button not long after. In the mean time that guy with the tie comes again and now he tells us we have to leave because we have been sitting too long. We aren’t even done drinking our water yet and we were still waiting for a waiter to take our desserts orders. But he said can’t do and we have to leave. I’m just flabbergasted and kind of in shock so i said we still need to finish the bottle of sparkling water. He said be quick about it and he will come back soon. When we were about to leave and put on our jackets a waiter arrived to take dessert orders… seriously…i told about the guy telling us to leave without a dessert and the waiter was also in disbelief.
