Spyros Papamentzelou schreef: There is a word for passion for everything you do in the Greek language, meraki (μεράκι). Meraki is the guiding principle for everything in Mr Foti's restaurant. Entering the restaurant you feel like entering a Greek island street and the first breath you take takes your nostrils back to your best Greek food memories (if you have none then you may never be satisfied with another Greek restaurant, even in Greece). We tried the meat dishes as well as more traditional Greek foods and also salads and sides. Everything was exquisite and delicious and actually reminded me of fond memories of my grandmother's cooking, with the only difference being the modern look of the dishes. We travelled to Eindhoven from Greece with our sports club - Danro, for a judo tournament with 7 athletes. Everyone was so pleased with the food and the accomodation that we dined there all the days of our stay except for Monday because the restaurant was closed (the rest of the choices in Eindhoven were at least subpar, as we found out). Special thanks to Mr Fotis, the restaurant owner who helped us feel like we were at home with family. We are hoping to return the hospitality when he visits Greece.
